in for various aliments and the early Greek athletes ate the seeds to increase their strength while training for Olympic games.  The
Romans and gladiators added it to their food to give them stamina and courage. It was believed that Fennel was good for the heart.

Caution: Never apply undiluted essential oil to the skin.  Avoid during pregnancy. Can excite the nervous system use sparingly.
