Because Spara operates very quietly, is easily installed, and can recycle water for an extended period of time -- by purifying and reusing the same water over and over -- it is expected to be a major new trend as an environmentally-friendly product in the well-being market.

 The natural rough stone used by Spara can be found naturally in only two places in the world: the Mammoth hot spring of Yellowstone National Park in the United States and the Futamada hot spring in Hokkaido, Japan. Containing much calcium that is easily soluble in water, the rough stone from Futamada, which contains no sulfur, has been frequently used for treating drinking water.

Spara uses a naturally occurring "rough stone," which is made up of natural calcium carbonate (95.75%, other minerals make up approximately 5%), an essential mineral for the human body.   The "rough stone" comes from Hokkaido, Japan, widely known as "the country of spa." Spara is characterized by continually producing a "spa effect," with ionized, aragonite-type calcium-enriched water constantly gushing out.
