Our research showed that the male deodorant market had one clear leader with 'vague' positioning. We decided to take a more direct approach, where our advertising message was that body odour is socially unacceptable and embarrassing.
Iman fragrance was selected after over 18 months of testing and trials. Iman was launched in august 2004 at a competitive price point with TV advertising campaign.
