The certification of D. O. P "VAL DI MAZARA " was granted on the 13th of March 2001.

The oil is then bottled in both rounded and squared dark glass bottles for protection and looks, in sizes of 50cl and 72cl, also in 3 & 5 litre tins.The oil has a life of up to 3 years from the day of pressing with each bottle having the date on.
Once picked and placed in rigged well aired containers , the olives are within 24 hours pressed by the " cold pressing " system, hence an acidity level of no more than 0.3%.
The picking of the olives is done by hand during the months of October to December.
The main types of olives we cultivate are the " Biancolilla & Nocellara del belice " chosen for their nutritional values and of course taste.
The land is surrounded by the mountains " SICANI " and crossed by 3 streams : " Sosio , Magazzolo & Platani . Being on the coastal region of the mediterranean sea , the sub tropical climate is ideal for the cultivation of the olive tree.
The company was formed in 2002 manufacturing the highest quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil in the province of Agrigento in the region of Sicily, Italy.
