The Dual Yellow:
-The 578nm Yellow output increases collagen production
-The 578nm light reduces vascular endothelial growth factors reducing melanin production
-Both histological and biological studies confirm the effectiveness of the Dual Yellow

Photo Dynamic Therapy (PDT)
-Acne is an example of PDT.
-Large amounts of Proto Porphyrin 9 (PPIX) exist within P Acnes bacteria.
-PPIX is light sensitive at 578nm.
The Dual Yellow:
-The 578nm Yellow output can travel down the sebaceous gland to destroy the P Acnes bacteria as well as shrink the gland reducing the production of sebum
-Acne can be effectively controlled with just 4 treatments one week apart. 

Bulky lesions:
-Include seborrhoeic keratosis, skin tags, warts etc.
-Are superficial in nature and can be ablated.
The Dual Yellow:
-The 511nm Green output can be combined with the 578nm yellow to produce a beam of over 2000w/cm, powerful enough to ablate tissue but is bloodless in  action.
-The yellow light in the beam can coagulate vessels in the base of warts giving a permanent result.

Pigmented lesions:
-Including lentigines, naevi and freckles
-They have superficial excess melanocytes
 The Dual Yellow:
-The 511nm Green output is ideally absorbed by melanin contained with melanocytes
-The Laser produces 700W/cm in green to rapidly photo coagulate pigmented lesions without collateral damage

Vascular system:
-Wavelength must match the absorption curve.
-Power density must be high enough to heat the vessel to necrosis temperature within the thermal relaxation time.
-The spot size must be small enough to limit any collateral damage.
 The Dual Yellow:
-The 578nm Yellow output exactly matches the peak absorption of Haemoglobin
-The Laser produces 700W/cm in yellow to rapidly photo coagulate vessels without perivascular damage
