The Vbeam utilizes Candelas Dynamic Cooling Device (DCD), which is an epidermal protection technology that maximizes patient safety and comfort during treatment.
The innovative ultra long pulse durations, up to 40 ms, deliver energy to targeted blood vessels over longer time frames thereby resulting in a more gentle heating effect generating a more uniform
coagulation of the targeted vessels. This gentle heating enables the treatment to minimize or eliminate the purpuric response commonly associated with a pulse dye laser.
