Voltage input shall be self-regulating between 90-264 VAC or 12 VDC and programmable for either 50 or 60 Hz and available with an optional battery back-up unit. The Scanning Alarm Receiver shall be Analytical Technology Model C14.
An RS-232/RS-485 serial communications port shall be provided along with ANASCAN software providing the ability to remotely setup channels, provide process overviews and graphic trend plotting and datalogging capacity from a separate computer. The RS-485 interface shall have the ability to connect up to 32 Scan Alarm Receivers in a daisy chained 4-wire series configuration.
Global alarm relays grouping 4 zoned inputs shall be provided for alarm, warning and trouble and to be rated 10 amp/120 VAC / 5 amp/230 VAC. Additionally, 36-individual open collector alarm outputs shall be provided and selectable as latched/unlatched with 1 global output & 1 system fault output. An optional external relay package can be provided in groups of 8, up to 32 with connection to the open collector outputs thus providing up to 2 additional alarms per channel and to be DIN rail mounted in an optional NEMA 4X enclosure.
A Scanning Receiver, to alarm and display input signals from ___________ (Specify Parameter or Parameters) at _________________(Specify Location) shall be provided and is to have a programmable alphanumeric liquid crystal display (LCD) with a touch keypad for programming and function access, capable of receiving up to 16 linear 4-20 mA input signals. Standard RS-232/485 serial interface allows all configurations to be set up by computer and alarm events to be automatically monitored by computer. Up to 32 separate monitors can be connected to a single RS-485 communication link.
Two programmable alarm setpoints are available for each analog input plus a trouble alarm for each channel. Six assignable SPDT alarm relays in standard configuration, with expansion for up to 36 total relay outputs. One output relay is factory set for global alarm and one is set for system failure.
The two line alphanumeric LCD provides sequential display of each channel and the alarm status for that channel. Display locks on any channel that goes into alarm.
The C14 ScanAlarm monitors up to 16 analog 4-20 mA inputs from remote transmitters, and provides 24 VDC power for up to 16 loop-powered toxic gas transmitters or 12 3-wirecombustible gas transmitters.
