CCTV Visual Flame Detector

The MICROPACK FDS-2301 is an imaging based flame detector which incorporates superior false alarm rejection and live colour video imaging direct from a specially designed detection camera. It operates standalone and incorporates within a single unit , an integrated CCTV system. The bulti-in Digital Signal Processing and Software Algorithms processes the live video image and interpret flame characteristics. This unique software algorithms are capable of discriminating between genuine fire conditions and other radiant sources such as flare reflection and blackbody radiation.?It transmits live video image to the control room and this eliminates the need to send personnel into a potentially dangerous area to investigate alarm conditions.Upon detection of fire, alarm signal will be sent to Fire & Gas Panel through relay contact or 4-20mA output. At the same time, live video (for black/white version only) will be displayed in control room which allows operator to see the hazard and make accurate and quick decision. As for color version, live video is displayed all the time.
