Note: This gas detector is designed to detect any flammable gas e.g. natural gas, methane and LP-gas (propane). It is not designed to detect smoke, fire or any other type of gas.
When gas reaches alarm level, the alarm circuitry will turn on the exhaust fan (relay). When gas reaches a safe level, the exhaust fan (relay) and warning sound will shut down after 5 seconds.
Exhaust Function:
When gas is detected at a level of 25% of explosive volume, the red light and alarm will automatically turn on within 5 seconds . Once the gas level reaches 10% of explosive volume, the red light and alarm will turn on within 20 seconds. Once the gas level reaches 5% of explosive volume, the red light and audio alarm will shut down after 5 seconds.
