Infrared Motion Detectors can be added to a central area of the home to detect movement. When the system is armed and the infrared beams detect movement, a signal is sent to Guardian. Our Monitoring Personnel will call the premises to verify whether the person is authorized, and then call the Responder List to advise them of the situation.
The Infrared Motion Detector can also be used to manage clients who wander. If the client wanders and trips the Infrared Motion Detector, the caregiver will be notified by an alarm via their computer. If the system is not reset, Guardian Monitoring Personnel will follow the instructions that given at the time of installation.
