The MDR pipeline metal detectors can be fitted into any existing pipeline system-vertical, horizontal or overhead. Each unit has robust quick release fittings that enable easy dismantling and cleaning. Adapters are available if different fittings are required. In applications where dismantling is not possible the detector is cleaned in place (CIP) . A stainless steel bead blasted support assembly with an integral gas strut provides for easy height adjustment in the range of 800 to 1100 mm and enables easy handling by a single operator. A search head is mounted on shock pads to minimise transmitted vibrations. A test port across RS232 connection is provided for sensitivity control and setting of rejection mechanism. All welds are continuous and ground smooth for a completely sanitary system. Efficient and fast reject systemsContaminants must be rejected quickly and efficiently. We at MDR have developed a series of reject valves to suit all types of product. The stainless steel reject valves have a straight through design for maximum product throughput, along with precise reject timing of contaminated product to minimize waste.
