The public safety notification system (psns), provides citizens with LED text messaging, visual strobe, and audible alarm notification of emergency situations in their community, city, county, state, or larger region as designated by a public safety agency.How is this possible?Psnss are centrally controlled by the city's designated emergency management agency. Psnss in a city are grouped to cover a designated alert area I. E. The financial district, commuter stations, shopping malls, or schools can be at a different alert level than other parts of the city.The groups can be administered quickly to add or remove psnss as the coverage area for a specific situation expands or contracts.The psns is tcp/IP enabled and can be configured as a stand alone or networked system. The psns can also be configured to work within a secure, encrypted, wireless environment in areas where wired service is not available.A unique feature of the psns is its patented ability to continually check and report its health to the psc network operations center (noc). The network operations center knows if a component is not working, or if the psns has failed to report its presense on the network. The noc also knows if the psns is in local manual overide or network controlled change mode. The psns high intensity strobe is rated at 7000 hours of continous use and is ul approved for indoor and outdoor operation.The psns can be customized to exist within any environment whether office or industrial. Psc works with the emergency management agency to educate the citizenry of the actions to be taken, for each safey notification, in accordance with American red cross recommendations for the individual, family, school, and business.The psns can be ordered in custom sizes and is rated for indoor and outdoor use.
