A product of Singh family farms, Punjab, India. Basamati rice stands apart with its long grains, aroma, texture and taste. Nature willed that this "King Of Rice" be grown only in this small portion of Northern India at the foothills of the Himalayas by providing the area a unique combination of soil, water, climate and other natural elements. Other rice growing regions around the world such as the Phillipines, Thailand, Malayasia and even in Texas have tried to grow Basamati but to no avail, It is like trying to age the Scotch whisky outside Scotland!
Tastes great plain, or in Pillafs, Biryani, and puddings.
