EX-1 GAS DETECTOR

EX-1 is a semi-explosive proof gas detector,where only the sensor is protected. This product will detect combustible gases in the air. It specifically used detect Natural Gas, LPG and Propane Gas. Once dangerous amount of combustible gas in air is detected buzzer and red light will come on.  With proper connections, during an alarm, EX-1 is able to turn on appliances that need to be turned on like external siren flasher, fan etc and turn off  appliances like gas shut off valve, electicity etc. When the gas reached safe proportions, the gren light will come on to indicate the unit is in the ready mode and it is safe to be in that area.EX-1 gas Detectors Works with 12V-24V and 230V electric supply. The gas detectors are maintenance free for the duration of the warranty. As wth all gas detectors they should be mounted at least 1 meter above and side from the appliance which uses combustible gas, this applies to Natural Gas(LNG). This is done since natural gas is lighter than air hence goes up in the air. If propane gas (LPG)  otherwise known as tube gas is used than the gas detector should be mounted 35 cm from flor.This is done since propane gas is havier than air. And tends to go down.
