A 1000 entry event log stores all alarms, acknowledgments, call-outs, call-ins, and changes to programming. Each entry is time-stamped to provide a complete chronological trail of everything that
has happened. This log can be printed locally to a parallel printer or uploaded to the Internet.
A Caller-ID function records all calls into the EPLC. Any calls into the Elite PLC for programming changes or acknowledging alarms is recorded in the event log with the Caller ID.
Any time a person changes the programming in the EPLC, a copy can be sent automatically to a database on the Internet. The database provides a complete history of changes that have been made to the
Elite.
If you cannot determine what caused an alarm or who acknowledged an alarm, what good is it to have an alarm system? The EPLC keeps track of what you really need to know about the operation of your systems.
The EPLC is mounted in a panel/flush mount configuration or a NEMA-4X enclosure to endure extreme exposure to the elements.
All field wiring uses pluggable connections, making it very easy for installation and de-installation.
With the EPLC, the user has no more fuses to replace in the event of lightning or power spikes. All inputs are electronically protected using solid-state automatic resettable fuses.
We even build in maintenance accountability
No alarm system is reliable unless it has been designed to be reliable. The EPLC is unsurpassed in this area.
The EPLC offers many methods for programming
Locally via the keypad
Locally or remotely via a PC or laptop
Remotely over a phone
Different types of physical inputs and outputs are available
From 4 to 48 Dry Contact or Digital Inputs
From 8 to 48 Analog Inputs
From 4 to 24 8A Relays (located locally or remotely)
Alarm types that match all your requirements
Contact Open or Close
Pulse and Flow totalization
Total time in a condition
Exceeding a high analog limit
Exceeding a low analog limit
Exceeding a positive rate of change
Exceeding a negative rate of change
Local notification of alarm conditions
LEDs change to red and blink to indicate in alarm.
Relays can be activated for any channel
The display shows all channels in alarm and their value.
Remote notification of alarm conditions
Call-out to a phone, cell-phone or radio
Numeric messages on display pagers
Text messages on cell-phones and alpha-pagers
Current status on the Internet
Faxed status reports
Quality construction for reliable performance
Web-based functionality allows for remote programming and management of as many sites as you want. Just hop online and immediately check on event log reporting and storage, or get complete regularly scheduled or on-demand status reports. Freedom is just a click away.
Continuous monitoring of up to 72 registers, digital or analog inputs in any combination.
Complete programming locally through the keypad, remotely via phone or via PC connection either locally or remotely.
Remote alarm notification via phones, cell phones, pagers, alpha-pagers, fax and e-mail.
All options are field upgradable without returning the unit to the factory.
Alarm on the conditions you need to: contact settings, specific values, total durations, accumulations or rates of change.
Input channels can control individual relays, giving you complete control of what happens when different conditions occur.
Monitoring of the communications between the EPLC and other devices and automatic alarm notification upon communication failure.
Pre-programmed or user-spoken messages for unique alarm notification for each condition.
SCADA capabilities using Modbus RTU option, giving you complete access to all inputs and outputs either through a direct RS-2332 connection or via modem.
PLC interface allows for reading/writing and alarming on PLC data over a serial connection between the EPLC and the PLC.
The Elite grows as your needs grow
PLC must support Modbus RTU support over a serial link.
Serial cable to link the EPLC to the PLC.
Powerful built-in functions that provide real benefit
Monitor Modbus communication link and alarm if loss of communication.
Any combination of up to 72 PLC analog, digital or relay points.
Any combination of physical points in the EPLC.
Dial-in voice-based status of all channels.
Configuration through voice-based prompts either locally or remotely.
Supports faxing of status report on periodic or alarm basis providing immediate information on all channels.
EPLC can be a Modbus Master and Modbus Slave concurrently for interface to SCADA.
Special display screens to view PLC channel status.
Additional channels, up to the maximum of 72, can be added over the phone.

Features
Values that are read from the PLC are interpreted by the EPLC the same as if they were physical I/O in the EPLC. All the alarm and control logic within the EPLC operate on data coming from PLC registers.
The I/O in the PLC can be any combination of analog (holding registers) or digital points (coils).
The option supports a combination of up to 72 total I/O channels - up to 48 of which can be physical I/O in the EPLC.
The Elite PLC, EPLC, provides reading input values from a PLC and writing relay control values to a PLC. The connection to the PLC uses the RS-232/RS-485 serial connector on the EPLC. The protocol is Modbus RTU, where the EPLC is a Master and the PLC, or other Modbus devices, are slaves.
