Rice - White Rice and Parboiled Rice

The Sensory Evaluation is one of the tools used by Urbano Agroindustrial in order to assure its products? quality.
The applied method is the Quantitative Descriptive Analysis (QDA), according to the Brazilian Technical Standards
(ABNT) 1410 for food and beverage.
This method requires previously trained and selected judges who evaluate the product daily. With QDA it is described
the odour, stickness, color, texture, flavor and taste of the product, utilizing non structured scales of 9 cm.
Collected data are registered and evaluated through ANOVA (Variance Analysis) and Test of Averages (TUKEY)
