Originally formed in 1989 as ASA Metallurgical Services Limited, ASAMS has expanded its activities from the original provision of materials testing and consultancy services to incorporate a range of underwater engineering services.
The range of services now offered by the company includes materials testing under a UKAS accredited quality management system; manufacture, sale and service of the OIS system 3 underwater magnetic particle inspection system; manufacture and sale of the ASAMS Viperprobe hand-held CCTV inspection system; manufacture and sale of the DHMC1 and DHMC2 diver helmet mounted camera/lights systems plus design, development and manufacture of one-off solutions to underwater engineering problems.
