BlueNet Video supports dynamic addressing support for users with DHCP addressing from Internet service providers. It is not necessary to have a static IP address from an Internet provider. BlueNet provides a FREE DDNS service that communicates with BlueNet our video servers to allow any and all users to access their servers via a personal web address, such as johndoe.mybluenetvideo.com
The BlueNet device is a single channel video server which will accept virtually any type of camera, wireless receivers, DVRs, multiplexors, etc. Each BlueNet device will give a display and access to one camera, DVR, multiplexor, etc. to up to 20 viewers simultaneously all at one time to anywhere in the world utilizing the web. This device does not have the capability to record data; a remote device is needed to record data from the camera. A Guest logged in as a viewer may view only. A person logged in as an administrator can control a PTZ camera if one is attached to the BlueNet and make other administrative changes.
