The X-point Video Surveilance Titler offers these multiple applications to give you the best possible monitoring and control of all aspects of your business.
The unit connects to the RS232 printer port of the cash register and superimposes the
data as readable text on the video signal taken from a camera pointed at the till.
The video output is recorded on tape, which allows you to review all activity and trace
any unusual events. In this way you have recorded coordinated text and visual data that you
can access in real time as well at any later date.
In addition the software created by X-point recognizes a set of special transactions that will activate an alarm signal, and write time/date information to the videotape. This allows you to reduce
the time required to review the tape.
The special transactions are programmable and can include no sale, return stock,
return item, subtract, cancel and similar events.
You are able to monitor the open-time of the cash draw. If this time falls outside a statistical
average an alarm is raised.
An additional serial interface can be used to connect the unit to a computer or to your network.
This allows you to retrieve logged data and to modify the software.
Typical applications are shop tills, coin counters, weigh bridges and scales amongst others.
The Video Surveillance Titler is a product that allows you to monitor transactions
at a point of sale by producing synchronized video and text information.
