NON-CONDENSIBLE GAS SYSTEM

The collection and disposal of foul and malodorous gases in a Noncondensible GasSystem provide an effective means of mill odor control and is mandatory in order to meetstringent air quality requirements. A. H. Lundberg, Inc. has been actively involved in thedesign and installation of these systems in mills for many years. LundbergNoncondensible Gas Systems (NCG) have been installed to collect gases from severalemission sources and provide for their disposal by incineration or chemical modification.Gases containing Total Reduced Sulfur (TRS) compounds are characteristically separatedinto two groups. The first group is low concentration-high volume (LCHV) gases. Thesecond group is high concentration-low volume (HCLV) gases. Typical TRSconcentrations in gases from these emissions are shown in Table I and Table II.
