Safety supervision system for hydrocarbon charging

The SAFE-IR is a state of the art system, designed for monitoring safety related functions of defined Ex classified production or repair areas. The system is consisting of a safety box with gas measuring heads and differential pressure sensors for monitoring the gas emissions and the venting system. It is also possible to connect external safety devices. The SAFE-IR is fully compatible with all AGRAMKOW hydrocarbon charging systems as well as hydrocarbon supply pumps. It can also be used as a stand alone safety system. The system is flexible and easy to install and operate.Additional input and output connections can be tailored to individual requirements. In the standard version the following safety related functions are monitored:- Operation of the venting system. In case of inadequate ventilation, a fault indication is activated- Gas concentration in the air. In case the gas concentration is 15% compared to the lower explosion level (LEL), a fault indication is activated; if the gas concentration is over 35% related to the LEL, the alarm function is activated- Power supply Advantages- Infrared sensor technology- Individual adaptation to production- Easy installation and configuration- Signals for equipment related fault as well as alarm monitoring - Interface to external safety systems- Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)- All components satisfy the CE ATEX standards- Minimum service required
