The peCAMit is specially designed for security and surveillance purposes. It's an IP camera with CMOS image sensor and PIR (Passive Infrared Detector), and thus makes a great alarm system. This dual detection mode (48-zone motion detection and PIR) reduces false alarms. JPEG attachments can be sent by triggering the camera and the peCAMit can be linked to AC household appliances, which can be turned on/off from anywhere in the world via Internet, PDA, Smartphone or MIPD2.0 mobile phone. Setup is a breeze - just connect it to an Ethernet port! The peCAMit uses a worldwide dynamic IP gatekeeper, so no additional setup is needed between the router and the camera.
