HICAP50 DVR

This set of tremendous potential can be recommended for use in every modern surveillance system. The price is lower than in the case of many less sophisticated solutions. Additional functions like possibility of connecting extra input / output devices (DIO connector - 16 inputs for sensors, 4 alarm outputs) permit further expansion of the system of monitoring by supplementary alarm tasks.

Application

The only weaker point of the set seems to be sensitivity to possible damage of the thin cables given by the producer (set of adapters for connecting cameras). So we recommend to assemble it with care and protect from exposing to mechanical stress.

The control of the system is simple and intuitive. When not all that buttons are needed, there is the possibility of further reduction in order to display on whole screen the pictures from cameras, which improves visibility of details.

The card is one of the finest solutions, characterized by simple installation, quick registration, many options of configuration (especially connected with setting the parameters of recording and  motion detection). An interesting function is pre-alarm - possibility of registration up to 8 frames before and after an alarm event ( e.g. the moment one of sensors has detected an intruder). So far, such function was available only in much more expensive systems.
There are only most needed buttons in the main window (choice of a camera, mode of display - full screen/division, manual recording, and several buttons allowing access to configuration program and browsing of archives. In the corner there is displayed additional information: date, time, status of recording.
