Many data and control interfaces
Trigger can control multiples devices through its serial interfaces and camera control ports. A single Ethernet port is used to receive commands and set-up information, transmit audio and video data and perform software upgrades. The GPIO alarm ports allow Trigger to receive external alarms from sensors and activate external devices such as sirens upon event detection.

Bi-directional audio transmission
In addition to supporting high quality video, Trigger also enables bi-directional audio transmission. This is used to listen to the site, as well as to pass commands to local security personnel and warnings to intruders. A video-out port supports local display of video and alarm indications on a local monitor. 

Trigger's function in processing video content smartly and independently near the camera increases accuracy and fault tolerance while reducing network bandwidth and overall operating costs. It sends video streams to the Control Center on an On-Event or On-Demand basis. Its two DSP processors concurrently analyze four video channel inputs, automatically detect events and transmit over an existing LAN infrastructure.
