The SpeedGuard? images can be decrypted and viewed by the SpeedGuard? Instation back office software and then processed by the operator at the Police process office.

Using the compact laser system, the operator can easily track the speeding vehicle and when it is at the optimum position for the offence images to be captured, SpeedGuard? will automatically record the violation. Automatic camera setup creates a single button operation; therefore no camera knowledge is required. The operator has only to concentrate on following the speeding vehicle with the laser; there are no complicated buttons to operate or procedures to follow.
The details and digital pictures of speeding vehicles captured by the SpeedGuard? system are stored on an easily removable Compact Flash memory card. Depending upon the memory capacity of the flash card used within the system, SpeedGuard? can capture up to 7,000 offence images on a single card. This stored information can later be uploaded to a desktop PC for processing.

The SpeedGuard? system is designed to measure the speed of vehicles from the roadside and store digital pictures of those travelling at a speed greater than a configured threshold. A high quality digital offence image is captured by the camera, the user can select how many frames per offence they wish to record, up to a set amount, during the set-up procedure.
