It is no secret that most common vessel tracking devices communicate telematic data through satellite networks, but leave customers marooned paying high position reporting costs.  BlueTraker^?2200 closes this gap keeping your vessel covered wherever it might be - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week - and reduces costs automatically and effectively.  It can even track jet skis and small boats through the built-in RFID function.

A MODULAR SYSTEM

A range of flexible, low-spec to high-tech devices are available to suit anyone's tracking needs.   For example you may deselect autonomy but use the standard GSM communication to keep costs to a minimum while your vessel is idle, then switch back when you need the high specification unit with all features enabled.  This function is very cost effective during winter mooring when less regular messaging is sufficient to ensure peace of mind and maintain security at the highest possible level.

FULLY SCALABLE

BlueTraker^?2200 features a built-in rechargeable Lithium-ion or Lithium-poly chemical source of energy with capacities up to 7200 mAh! Should external power become unavailable for any reason, this internal battery supply takes over automatically.  BlueTraker^?2200 will operate for up to 5 days on internal battery power.  The battery will automatically begin recharging when the external power source (vessel batteries or power generator) is restored.

EXCEPTIONAL OPERATING AUTONOMY

Your new tracking device mounts externally onto your vessel and resists all the weather conditions, mechanical bumps or electrical interference which can occur throughout years of operation.  The BlueTraker^?2200 housing consists of a double-shell construction.   Each shell is separated by a layer of air which is not sealed to the external environment.   Air can freely and slowly circulate between the two shells and the device can resist even the harshest chill factor when the vessel is moving at high speed through the coldest of environments.  The housing unit is fully waterproof.  The construction provides exceptional ingress protection up to a maximum of IP69K protection grade (car wash environment).  High UV radiation and temperatures from -25?C to +55?C will have no impact on BlueTraker^?2200 operation.

ROBUST DESIGN

BlueTraker^?2200 is mechanically and electrically a fully integrated device with a central processing unit comprising of satellite and GPRS transceivers, fitted with internal antennas, and with an autonomous power supply.  Everything is packed inside a very robust housing with a double shell construction.  This high level of integration protects from fraud or misapplication often found when "cabling rich" modular devices are installed.

FULLY INTEGRATED DESIGN

The low cost and wide bandwidth of GPRS enables us to regularly keep the system updated with new software upgrades.  The BlueTraker^?2200 is upgraded remotely and wirelessly - without wasting valuable resources and money.  This functionality alone can repay the purchase value of the BlueTraker^?2200 by eliminating out-of-warranty maintenance costs.  Precise geofence detection thanks to geofence data downloads and enhanced future functionality upgrades over the air are only a few of the many advantages of this system.

UPGRADE OVER THE AIR

BlueTraker^?2200 utilises dual communication channels to and from the CFMC (Charter Fleet Monitoring Centre).  By using satellite communication (Iridium) and terrestrial GPRS/SMS costs are minimised. Effective position reporting enables messaging latency while vessels are in coastal or international waters.  Real time cost effective reporting is now available.
