S-FACE MASK is comfortable and reliable, designed with Interspiros outstanding safety pedigree and innovative approach. The inner mask separates inhaled and exhaled air to minimize the danger of breathing exhaled carbon dioxide. An ambient air hatch with double action release mechanism enables the use of ambient air while in stand-by (first breath version also available).
S-BREATHING VALVE is a positive pressure valve with a secure connection to the face mask. The design of the demand valve supplies air only while inhaling, with instantaneous response to workload differences. The S-breathing valve supplies outstanding high volumes of air, also under extreme temperatures
QS PLUG-IN REGULATOR UNIT has a well-proven and robust design, the pneumatics has been in service more than 10 years. The unit comprises of a cylinder valve connector, a pressure regulator, a mechanical audible alarm and a pressure gauge.
The flexibility of the QS-system place very high demands on the regulator. Using a rescue hose, attaching a Revitox rescue mask combined with the large breathing volumes a fire fighter demands on assignment requires a regulator with extreme flow rates.
The Plug-in Regulator is characterized by its high capacity and reliable mechanical design. This ensures that the positive pressure in the face mask is maintained even under conditions with low cylinder pressure and extreme breathing rates.
The pressure regulator and audible warning are designed as modular units to simplify maintenance and reduce down time
QS HARNESS is designed for ultimate comfort and to reduce fatigue. The harness is heavily padded with wide shoulder straps. Both the shoulder straps and the hip belt are equipped with pivot mechanisms in order to increase the freedom of movement and for an ergonomic weight distribution.
The double pivot mechanism design reduces shoulder strain, even while performing heavy physical activities such as climbing ladders.
The harness can be used with a single cylinder, twin cylinders or a cylinder pack. Kevlar and Nylon versions are available.
