Fire Sentry comes in both a convenient 16 oz. squirt bottle that you can take anywhere, and a magnetic canister that can be mounted right to the hood of your stove.  Leave a squirt bottle in your car for engine or tire fires, and put one in each room that someone smokes in.  

The Fire Sentry is made of beads of siliconated material that will put the fire out right now and will not spread a grease fire like fire extinguishers will.  Because it is siliconated, Fire Sentry will resist moisture and will not cake up like baking soda, so it will last for ears without condensation affecting it. You can even pour water in it and it will still remain dry.
