The Firex 41216 smoke alarm complies with UL standard 217 and is backed by a 5 year limited factory warranty.
The Firex 41216 can be interconnected with up to 18 other Firex units. When interconnected with other Firex smoke alarms, the unit that initiates the alarm horn throughout the system will display a rapidly flashing red LED, while the other interconnected smoke alarm LEDs remain unlit.
The Firex False Alarm Control enables the user to mute non-threatening alarms for up to 15 minutes, reducing the temptation to disconnect the smoke alarm in the event of an unwanted signal.
