Pyrogen fire extinguishing aerosol generator

Pyrogen is a new class of fixed fire extinguishing system using solidpropellant aerosol technology. Unlike conventional fire extinguishingsystems, PyroGen is stored as a stable solid chemical compound whichwhen activated generates a fire-fighting aerosol. The extinguishingmedium however is not stored in a pressurised cylinder, it is producedin-situ only when required. The aerosol is a mixture of gases andmicron-sized solids, possessing gas-like distribution properties andlong holding times, totally floods the protected enclosure and rapidlyextinguishes any fire present.

	Environmentally friendly Pyrogen is certified as having 0% OZone Depleting Potential (ODP) and0% Global Warming Potential (GWP).			Simple to install and recommissionPyrogen canisters are electrically (or automatically thermally)activated. Simple wiring and plug-in connectors can reduce installationtimes.
	Cost Effectiveness With minimal space and weight requirements, simple installation, zeromaintenance and up to 10 years service life, Pyrogen is arguably themost cost effective solution available.			No pressurised cylinders or pipe work Pyrogen canisters are self contained, 0% pressure units. As well asbeing light and safe to transport, they require no additional pipes,nozzles or equipment.
	Compact and weight saving Pyrogen canisters can provide the smallest and lightest fire extinguishing system currently available.			Spontaneous extinguishing action By installing Pyrogen close to the source of fire, we are able tocontrol and extinguish the fire the moment it is started.
