Applications
The FA18 and FA50 double barrier flame arresters are designed for in-line protection against backfires and sustained burning of flammable gases or vapors with flame speeds below 10 feet per second.
When fitted with an optiona; weather-hood, they excel as end-of-line vent flame arresters to prevent fires or explosions from exterior flame sources.

- Dual flame barriers provide improved protection for a wide range of flammable gases and vapors.
- High strength, high temperature cast iron housing standard, with carbon steel, stainless steel, Monel, Inconel, nickel CV100 and Hastelloy optional.
- Corrosion resistant type 316 stainless steel flame barriers standard, with Monel, Inconel, nickel CV100 and Hastelloy optional.
- Compact housings cast to match standard pipe sizes: 1 to 4 inches.
- 125 lb. flat faced flanged connections with 150 lb. raised face drilling optional.
- Design operating pressure: 10 psig
