The Crocodile clip lock system is fixed on the structural steel section which cladding by 2 layers of gypsum board type x,15-16mm. of thickness to provide fire rating up to 180 minutes when it is tested by the standard testing of ASTM-E119.

Advantages

The Crocodile clip lock is a special designed clip which fitted easily onto the flanges of structural steel. The Crocodile clip lock helps us to solve all the problems especially to fix stud frame on the structural steel. It can be constructed on three sides of fire protection for beam and also four sides of fire protection for column.

Crocodile Clip Lock System  

Gypsum Encasement system is not a new idea of fire engineering which looking for fire protection to the structural steel work. There are many structural steel buildings used to apply fire protection this method. However gypsum encasement is too complicated to use because it is very difficult work to fix the steel stud on the structural steel without damage on the main steel work.
