The Drag Rescue Device (DRD)is designed to provide a quickly deployed system to help rescue a downed firefighter. The DRD strap is hidden between the inner and outer jacket and loops around the upper shoulders.

Knitted wrists to prevent incursion of fire and burning debris;

Curved sleeves follow the natural shape of your arm to work with you not against you;

Patched knees and elbows make the suit more flexible and durable;

Removable inner easy to clean and maintain;

Closed with heavy-duty flame resistant brass zipper;

Jacket and trousers of a multi-layer construction;

Outer layer: PBI Rip-stop fabric; It has good flame resistant oil proof electrical, insulation and resistance to acids and alkalis.
Moisture barrier: Nomex/Kevlar blended felt laminated with PTFE
Thermal Barrier: Non-woven Nomex and Kevlar blended felt
Inner layer: Nomex/Viscose blended fabric                                                            Reflective Trim: 3M Scotchlite FR reflective tapes
