AutroSafe IFG provides intelligent integration for a wide range of field devices for fire-and-gas detection; the system also supports a wide range of interfaces for third-party field devices and distributed control systems (DCS).

AutroSafe IFG incorporates numerous cost-saving features including networking and loop distribution, as well as installation and maintenance tools and SelfVerify (as mentioned above). These measures reduce life-cycle costs and make the system easier and quicker to install and run.

Petrochemical, oil and gas industry
AutroSafe IFG includes time-and-cost-saving technologies including SelfVerify and DYFI+. SelfVerify is a self-testing mechanism developed by Autronica in collaboration with BP, Exxon and Total, which increases reliability at the same time as reducing Life Cycle Costs; this success is attested by real-world applications and independent tests. DYFI+ is a dynamic filtering system that drastically reduces unwanted alarms, ensuring reliable detection and reduced costs from process shutdowns.

AutroSafe IFG has been developed in close collaboration with the petrochemical, oil and gas industry. AutroSafe IFG is designed to comply with present and future standards, including EN 54, and is approved by many international standards organizations.
