fumes, steam, etc. from kitchen or bathroom. Paint and other fumes can cause nuisance alarms.Check for any sign of contamination such as cobwebs or dust. Clean the alarm as described in the use and
care book if necessary.Press the Test/Hush button on the unit causing the alarm (this can be identified as the alarm with the red light flashing rapidly) this will silence the smoke alarm for 10
minutes (and also silence all other interconnected smoke alarms in the system).Alarms beep for a few seconds every 4 hours there is a depleted battery in the system.The alarm fails to sound when
