Electrical push button locks are powered by 2 ''AA'' batteries.The lock memory will store 90 different User Codes, each identified by a User Code ID - 01 to 90. A new code will be rejected if it is
already in the memory. Codes may be 4, 5 or 6 digits long. The length of the Master Code determines the length of the User Codes. The lock is delivered with the factory set Master Code #1234 You
are advised to change the Master Code immediately after installation The Master Code always has the # prefix If the Master Code is changed to another of the same length then all the User Codes will
be retained. If the Master Code is changed to one of a different length then all the User Codes will be deleted. Models 2000 and 4000 are medium duty and less expensive than the 5000 series. You
