Blast proof door

- Materials : General rolled structural steel confirm to the requirement of ASTM A36/ Equivalent. Steel sheets and shaped steels confirm to the requirements of ASTM A6/ Equivalent. Carbon steel for machinery and structures confirm to the requirements of ASTM A283/ A 283M/ Equivalent.

- Latching Mechanism

- Hinge : Door hinges are provided with slide bearing or roller bearing.

- Latch pin mechanism to automatically lock/unlock the door

- Hydraulic / Pneumatic cylinder for the opening and closing the door with all its accessories (Optional)

- Hydraulic / Pneumatic unit assembly (Optional) : The operation unit assembly is supplied with pump, reservoir of matching capacity, level indicator, suction strainer, pressure gauge, air breather, flow control valve, limit switch, required fittings and accessories

- Door assembly & Door frame : The door plate / frame assembly have an optimized pattern for transfer of blast forces into surrounding wall.

The blast proof door is designed to protect human life from any accidental explosions that may occur in petrochemical plants or in industrial manufacturing facilities; to offer disaster prevention and protection for main facilities; and to effectively manage and control explosions in military experiments at military facilities or at any explosion-prone laboratories. It functions as a gate way toward the outside, blocking the blast of air and heat generated from air bombing, shelling, or explosions, as well as protecting from shrapnel damage.
