| The CAMSS16EX is a quick setup, versatile, all-weather military tent system for rapid worldwide deployment. Rugged Military Tent Designed for use throughout the world, the CAMSS16EX is ruggedized with high strength aluminum and MIL-SPEC Fabric. Measuring 16' wide x 16' long with a sidewall height of 7', the CAMSS16EX is perfect for a variety of applications. Some of these applications include emergency shelter, billeting, offices, traffic control points, shops, medical facilities, and decontamination. Quick Setup Portable ShelterThe CAMSS16EX Tent can be fully assembled in 20 minutes by a crew of three personnel and no ladder is required. Installing all frame, liners, lights, and outlets from the ground creates a safe setup environment while saving time. All tools required for setup are included. Extreme EnvironmentsThe CAMSS16EX meets a 15 pound snow load and a 100 mph wind load with guys. Our unique design, combined with quality materials and a state of the art manufacturing process, provides a lightweight tent for use in extreme conditions. Numerous FeaturesThe CAMSS16EX Military Tent is equipped with a window in each endwall and open-air vents near the peak. This tent also includes two double zipper doors, which can be rolled up and secured for easy access. The quick connect electrical system includes four lights, two duplex outlets, and a distribution panel. Also included are the Extreme Weather Kit, High Wind Kit, Anchoring Kit, Flooring, and Spares/Repair Kit. Optional side entrances and hard floors are available. Climate ControlledThe Extreme Weather Kit includes a ruggedized liner system that creates an attic space for efficient and effective insulation. The drum-tight fit of the cover assists in controlling the internal environment from extreme ambient temperatures of -55 to 125 degrees Fahrenheit with a full solar load. Efficient AirflowThe CAMSS16EX is equipped with a spot cooling plenum for easy control of airflow. The quick connect plenum installs at the center of the tent, out of the way of everyday activities. The CAMSS16EX is compatible with multiple environmental control units. Useable Floor SpaceThough smaller in width than the TEMPER Tent, the CAMSS16EX Military Tent delivers nearly the same useable floor space as the TEMPER Tent with less weight and cube and a faster set-up time. The CAMSS16EX achieves this with its straight walls compared to the TEMPER Tent's slanted wall, which waste space. Compact TransportationUsing only 25 cubic feet of space when packed, the 256 square foot system allows for shipment using military trucks, ships, or aircraft. Twelve CAMSS16EX Military Tents can be stacked on one 463L pallet for air shipment. The CAMSS16EX can also be bundled using bags and carrying straps for easy loading and unloading by personnel from a HMMWV or other military vehicle. Optional Composite ContainerThe CAMSS Small Composite Container is available for storing and shipping the CAMSS16EX. This lightweight, weather-tight container, measuring 44" wide x 102" long x 32" high, is stackable and forkliftable. Two complete tent systems, with set up tools, will fit in one container and six containers will fit on one 463L pallet for air shipment. |
