BMT is almost certainly the world's leading supplier of onboard stress and motion monitoring systems and have supplied over 100 systems to date on vessels of all types including bulk carriers, containerships, cruise ships, ferries, tankers and naval vessels. We also have a wide range of operational and logistical modelling tools designed to support the offshore industry and port development activities. A focussed BMT subsidiary specialises in risk and reliability and they in turn have a number of software based tools to support client requirements across all modes of transportation. Our consultancy and support expertise in environmental modelling is evident in our software products for oil spill emergency response, search and rescue, offshore pollution and shipping information systems.
