| During the day, the SRS absorbs sunlight and changes it into electrical energy and at night, it will then light without external power sources after being energized by the sun. The SRS automatically start to flash when night falls falls or with the onset of inclement weather. |
| Due to the aluminum alloy and poly carbonate makeup, the studs are absolutely weather resistant and attract the driver's attention because of their permanent lighting as well as the standard retro-reflective materials used. The bright flashing LEDs are highly effective at getting the attention of drivers much earlier than conventional (reflective) road studs. |
| The SRS does not require external power sources as it is based on Solar Energy. The bright LEDs provide guidance at night and during inclement weather conditions. The solar panel, electronics and the optics are waterproof and unbreakable. |
| The LEDs light continuously for approx. 7 hours-after only 1hr of light exposure. When completely charged (for 8-10 hours), the stud flashes for 3-4 days (based on 12 hours/day operation). |
