ALCOHOL ALERT

The accuracy of the equipment is (+ or -) .02%.  Because of individual differences in peoples' reaction to alcohol, the equipment cannot say if someone is capable of driving, but can give guidance as to whether they might be over the legal blood alcohol limit.

 The Alcohol Alert Machine accepts either four quarters or a dollar bill.  (The machine can be set to a no charge condition.)  An individual wishing to determine their degree of blood alcohol will take a provided sanitized straw and will simply follow the instructions as provided by the machine, by blowing through the  straw into the machine's orifice. The equipment will analyze the alcohol content of the breath and calculate the approximate blood alcohol content.

If you are a drinking establishment owner, this equipment will help to inoculate you against third party law suites by being a basis for an "action  statement", that you are aware of the problem, care about your customers, have posted signage, and trained personnel in your societal efforts.  If you are sued you will have substantially more of a defense in court than "Your Honor, we did not know he was drunk." 

In the last few years, the reputation of the Alcohol Alert's capabilities of helping to mitigate the drunk driving problem has been growing at an exponential pace.  Even some countries such as France have begun to recognize the value of this type of equipment.     

Within the last five to ten years, the Alcohol Alert Machine has been developing a reputation of truly accomplishing its purpose.  Even though local and state governments' number one priority is to do something about the problem of drunken driving, they have very limited weapons at their disposal.  Increased penalties and more rigorous enforcement seemed to be the only tools available. 

Twenty-five years ago, Mr. Ken Stoll invented the Alcohol Alert Machine.  Its purpose is to give the social drinker a means of determining whether they have had to much to drink to drive their vehicle.
