Phka Rumduol rice has been purified from an indigenous aromatic variety by the Cambodian Agricultural Research and Development Institute and was released in 1999.

Domnak Teuk Group Co., LTD produces Phka Rumduol rice  from pure  quality seed with good agricultural practice through contract farming with the trained and skilled farming communities and with assistance from the local NGO called "CelAgrid" in Pursat and Takeo provinces. Phka Rumduol production maximizes the use of local available resources including manure and compost to minimize production cost and therefore taking great care of the environment and customers satisfaction.
