Provides digital time information and long-range receptionRi-uni (wireless time signal receiver) : receives time signals from FM broadcasts and automatically sets the time of thd traffic signal controller. Interconnects a number of controllers at intersections. Lazer sensor-unit (non-emvbedded) : this distance sensor light (990 nm range) , detects an object passing anywhere in the preset range, and generates an electric trigger signal. It recognizes exactly when a vehicle has entered thd scan area, and continues to produce output signals as long as the vehicle is in thd scan area, allowing the user to determine whdther the vehicle is in the area and how long it is there
