Daytime safety detent lock prevent locking personnel inside the vault under holdup conditions.

Alarm Microswitch
A heavy dutydoor micro switch is incorporated into the door for possible connectionto the main intruder alarm system as additional protection.

Day Gate
The standard Grille Gate for ventilation of the room during the day and control when the door is open

Emergency Ventilator
Emergency ventilator. It provides live-saving air, should anyone be confined within the vault.

Locking
Full length lockingbar. assuring total top to bottom contact with the locking jamb. Dualfour-wheel combination locks is concealed behind a privacy panel forcontrolled access by one or more attendants.

Classic's built-in stainless steel contact microswitch is located in the door frame to effect an alarm contact when thedoor is closed and the massive bar lock is engaged. The additionalsecurity feature prevents bank peronnel from cosing the door withoutlocking the bar lock system. It also eliminates the need for externalmagnetic contact switches and unsightliy wires characteristic with oldfashioned door/alarm hook ups.

Underwriters Laboratory (UL) Listed 3 movement time locks are concealed behind the flush panel on the back each classic door.
Magnifying lenses cover each movement for easy viewing.

The classic emergency ventilator is built into thevualt door frame, eliminating the need for space consuming wallventilator installation. Classic vault doors conceal the emergencyventilator behind the hinge cover, eliminating unsightly ventilatorhole, in all other vault door.

When activated a daytime safety detent lock securesthe locking bar in a open position and designed to prevent lockingpersonnel inside the vault under holdup conditions.

The decorative operating wheel activates the fulllength locking bar. Assuring total top to bottom contact with the doorslocking jamb.

Classic's standard daygate features a stainlesssteel grid with lock panel to match. Key operation is used with thestainless steel bar style daygate.

The large 36" clear opening and flat sill allows convenient access for people and carts.
