We are recognized as key suppliers of Indian Basmati and Thai Jasmine rice where we serve about 10% of the Continental European market. Our market expertise is supported by two blue-chip rice millers.In 1988, Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL) appointed HBI as their exclusive agents for Basmati rice in Europe. HUL are part of the Unilever group and are fully integrated rice millers from paddy to branded products, with an extensive network of experienced buyers, and unique R&D facilities in agri-products. We are supported by Unilevers ethical and highly reliable consumer-orientated approach. HBI is also the exclusive European agent of Riceland Foods Ltd (RFL). Riceland Foods Ltd are fully integrated millers with 35 years experience in rice and produce one of the best qualities of rice in Thailand. Their approach to the market is based on a high respect of customers expectations and reliable marketing and logistic services. This has enabled RFL/HBI to become a leading operator of Thai Fragrant rice in Europe.
