SPECIFICATIONS
The SilverGuard Proximity Wand is housed in a stainless steel case for unsurpassed durability. There are no buttons or switches to wear out or tamper with. It is incredibly easy to operate: one
quick touch induces error-free data collection from the SilverGuard Proximity Tags.
SilverGuard Proximity (RFID) Tags and Guard ID Tags
The SilverGuard Proximity Tag is housed in black Epoxy. It has a unique serial number created at the time of manufacturing. It requires no external power. It can be concealed behind non-metallic
surfaces such as concrete, drywall, plastic, wood etc.
Data Transfer Station
The Data Transfer Station (DTS) is used to download collected data in the SilverGuard wands to an external device. Simply place the wand into the DTS and the data stored in the wand will be
downloaded to a printer, PC, modem or secure connection.
The SilverGuard SG6
The SilverGuard RFID Proximity Wand is the only RFID Proximity Stainless Steel Wand in existence in the world today. It is constructed from stainless steel to provide for unsurpassed durability and
for operation in harsh environments. It is incredibly easy to operate: by just pressing a button, it can rapidly read an RFID tag within its scan area without errors. As long as the RFID tag is
within the wand scan area, it can be read without physical contact. It will even read an RFID tag embedded in concrete walls. The SilverGuard RFID Proximity Wand is quite versatile: it can download
its data directly to a printer, a PC, a modem or a Remote Mobile Collector.
The SilverGuard Wand is an electronic guard patrol system that replaces the traditional mechanical time clock previously used by security personnel. During a watch tour, the security officer carries the SilverGuard Proximity Wand (SG4), or the SilverGuard Proximity Wand (SG6), which are both hand-held guard tour readers. The SG6 Proximity Wand is housed in a stainless steel case for unsurpassed durability in harsh guard tour environments. Using the hand-held reader, the security officer simply positions the reader next to each patrol checkpoint (each of these checkpoints is in the form of a SilverGuard Proximity Tag) to record the location, date and time of the patrol. Patrol information is transferred via the Data Transfer Stations to a printer, a computer or to the Central Monitoring Station for processing. The SilverGuard guard tour equipment monitors field personnel, and is used in industries that deploy field personnel. These products are currently being sold through our BCS authorized distributors worldwide.
