Anti-Spray Tape

Mareflex MF01 is the first spraypreventing tape which is enhanced with a fire-retardant (selfextingusihing) adhesive layer for further enhancing the safetystandards. The self-adhesive layer is extremely strong and waterresistant.

Antispray MF01 is available in sheetand tape format of various size, in all versions equipped with anadhesive layer to ensure easy installation.

The Mareflex MF-01 anti-splashing tapewas designed with the aim of protecting pipline installations againstleakage in accordance with the SOLAS Consolidate Edition 2001,Regulation II-2/4.2.2.5.3 and the previous SOLAS Consolidate Edition1997, Regulation II-2/15.2.9/.10/.11/.12 (see details and theinterpretation). As the Type Approval Certificate states, our tape'sapplication is screening of pipe joints and fittings for use withpipe flanges and fittings in system for fuel oil, lube oil and otherflammable oils. The flamable substance once it comes into contactwith a hot surface may be the cause of fires. The MF01 tape directsany potential leakage to areas where the hot substance will not bedangerous.
