Photoluminescent UL 924 exit sign is the perfect choice for those looking to save money and conserve energy. Made with heavy gauge aluminum substrate the sign has an ETL listed viewing distance of 50 feet and exceeds all major building codes including NFPA 5000 and Life Safety 101. It can be used in new construction or as a replacement for existing electric signs. Framing is available, although all signs come with 4 mounting holes making Installation a snap. With a life expectancy of 25 years plus, they require no electricity (this is a self powered exit sign), no battery backup (unlike LED exit signs), or monthly maintenance which results in immediate savings.

UL 924 Exit signs, after been exposed to 5 foot-candles of fluorescent light for 60 minutes are visible and legible in total darkness to observers from 50 or 100 feet away after all light has been extinguished.
Cleaning - Cleaning of the exit sign should be done with a non-abrasive cloth dampened with water. Do not use chemical solvents.
Installation - Four (4) mounting holes provided. Mark the mounting screw locations on the wall. Drill anchor holes, insert anchors then install the exit sign using screws through the mounting holes.
Activation - A minimum of 5 foot-candles (54LUX) of external unfiltered fluorescent illumination must be present on sign face at all times during occupancy.
