It is an item of personal exercise equipment designed to improve flexibility of the spine and core abdominal strength. It can be used by anyone of any age or sex as a means of increasing
flexibility for general health and fitness, for specific sporting requirements, or for remedial exercises following an injury. It works by allowing the user to maximize the effectiveness of a range
of stretching or abdominal flexing exercises, simply and unaided by another person. Its design is lightweight, portable, and compact when not in use. It also has an appealing aesthetic quality
which will hopefully make it a very desirable piece of home exercise equipment. It is envisaged that it could be manufactured quite cheaply, maybe from recycled materials, which we hope will be a
major selling point in the marketing of this product. The design could be beefed up to target gymnasiums, health club chains etc. It would be sold with a booklet or chart depicting a range of
exercises which would increase progressively in difficulty and complexity, and there is potential for a number of related items of equipment to be sold with it or maybe purchased later as the users
flexibility and strength increases
