ST2357-Heart/Pulse Rate Measurement Trainer provide the facility for measurement of heart/pulse rate, optical sensor finger clip is used for the detection of change in blood volume in the finger. Each time the heart muscles contract, blood is ejected from the ventricles and a pulse of pressure is transmitted through the circulatory system. This pulse when traveling through the vessels, cause vessel wall displacement, which can be measurable at various point of the peripheral circulatory system. The pulse can be felt by placing figure tip over the radial artery in the wrist or some other location of the body. The pulse pressure and waveform is indicator for blood pressure and flow.
